This year’s Earth Day activities included a party at the Kiehl’s flagship store on  NYC’s lower east side. The party coincided with the launch of a new Kiehl’s product, on which it collaborated with Malia Jones, Pharrell Williams, Jeff Koons, and Julianne Moore. Proceeds go to help the rain forests. It’s fashion week in NYC. Live Mechanics had a runway show and after party at Hotel on Rivington, to kick it off. The venue was hot, the styles were hot. It was a really good time. The rest of the proofs can be seen here. Check SoJones for more coverage.

The Cargo Trade Show is a pretty cool little event. It is like the true grass roots version of a fashion industry trade show. I covered this same event last summer. LRG was rocking out with their stocking out, on Thursday night, at their offices in the garment district of NYC. They are located in this cool old building with elevators that still require an elevator operator, to turn the controls. I wish that we would have had time to stick around longer.
