This event was held at Cipriani, located on Wall Street. D-Nice was the DJ, to get things warmed up. He later took the stage with the Roots. Q-Tip also joined in on the set.
This was a pretty cool event, put on by Kodak to promote their new line of cameras that can upload images directly to social networking sites. They kept it pretty small and intimate, which always makes things better.
At the tail end of April, I shot some images for a profile piece on Soul Mafia, a Brooklyn based outfit. The venue was cool, and so was the band. Check out the full write up, over here.
I met the guys from Game Rebellion a few weeks ago, doing an interview for SoJones. They invited me to come shoot their EP listening party for “Sounds Like a Riot” last night at Fight Klub. It was a really good time.

Saturday afternoon, I spent in Brooklyn getting to know a band called Game Rebellion. We shot at local clothing co./shop in Williamsburg called Freshthetic. It was a lot of fun. They had some of their jams pumping through the sound system while we were shooting. It was pretty cool stuff. They have an EP coming out soon, with a listening party coming up on the 16th.
