This week KAWS installed one of his pieces at the Standard Hotel in NYC’s meat packing district. The “Companion” will be on display at the MPD location for the duration of the summer. Here is the coverage on Curated and Highsnobiety.

Puma celebrated the launch of their collaboration with Undefeated recently at Good Units in midtown Manhattan. I linked up with Eddie Cruz from Undftd for some photos for a Feature on Highsnobiety.

Friday was the opening party for the latest setup to grace the old Deitch space at 18 Wooster. It is a collaborative effort between the folks at Krink and G-shock. I was able to get in early on Friday and get some preview shots. Check out more coverage in Curated, Highsnobiety and Juxtapoz.

These are a few images that I recently did for a feature in HS for Edwin Jeans. The model is hip hop artist Gilbere Forte. He is a super chill guy. These jeans are super dope. They are just starting to make their way into the US market. But here is where you can get Edwin in the UK.

The Mercer St. Location of Rag & Bone recently hosted a launch even for the collaboration with Timberland Boots. I was there covering the event for HS. Jeff Staple and Terry Kennedy were a few of the guests in attendance.

Band of Outsiders, in a little variation on the traditional “runway” approach to FW shows, decided instead to have a “presentation.” I have to admit, I really liked it. Instead of having that stuffy feeling where you are stuck in your seat for 20 minutes trying to scribble down notes/snap images, the presentation had a much more organic flow to it. The flow was a lot more natural. Observers were able to confer with one another without feeling like they were interrupting or missing something. From the point of view of a photographer, I have to say it was a lot less stressful than shooting a runway show. Instead of just blasting away on the shutter button for 2o minutes and sorting out the mess later, I was able to actually take my time and plan out my shots. On the flip side of that, there is really no excuse for getting a bad shot at setups like these. I hope that is becomes more common. Click through to Selectism and Highsnobiety for some commentary.

West coast street wear label The Hundreds recently expanded to the east coast with the opening of their SoHo location in NYC. These are some of the shots that I did for Highsnobiety.

It was so cool to hangout with and shoot Os Gemeos. I have been a huge fan of their work for a long time. I also have a bit of favoritism for them, when it comes to street art, being that they are Brazilian. Be sure to check out the coverage on HS.

Converse rocked the Williamsburg Music Hall, this week in Brooklyn with Kid Cudi. I also heard the group Best Coast, for the first time. It was a pretty pleasant discovery. It was the first time that I had been to the venue, and and I had almost forgotten that I read about Shepard Fairey doing the wallpaper for the joint, during his May Day campaign.
