The French candle makers Cire Trudon (est. 1643) chose NYC to open their first American retail location. I covered the preview for Selectism. The candles smell as beautiful as the store looks. Definitely check it out.

The Mercer St. Location of Rag & Bone recently hosted a launch even for the collaboration with Timberland Boots. I was there covering the event for HS. Jeff Staple and Terry Kennedy were a few of the guests in attendance.

Bonhams, on Madison Avenue, recently had an exclusive reception for viewing a private collection of vintage Heuer watches that will be up for auction later this year in the UK. Check Selectism and Cool Hunting for the full details.
